for Owners and Collections
Certified BOCAA Appraisals using USPAP are of great benefit to owners. Appreciation exists for a wide range of historic cars ranging from pristine original cars with a perfect provenance, to show quality restorations, to daily drivers and even ‘barn finds’. Appraisals that are both current and accurate will provide the owner a basis on which to take further actions. For example I had a friend with an Alfa Romeo Zagato that became so valuable risking it on the track or street became untenable.
On the other hand we’ve all seen cars for sale quoting a high (vanity) appraisal value yet asking a far lower price.
An accurate appraisal can provide context.
We can assist in legacy and estate planning for individual cars or a private collection. In the case of a collection based on strictly investment return, we can actively monitor and identify market trends.
Certified BOCAA Appraisals using USPAP legally defensible appraisals
As a BOCAA certified appraiser, our appraisals utilize USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) a standard which has been widely accepted by the courts and insurance companies.
